Lyn Mayer is a Northeast Los Angeles based artist working in various media including colored pencil, mixed media and digital prints. She is drawn to the uniqueness of LA urban areas and has preserved visual iconography of a bygone era with whimsical artistry and incredible attention to detail. Her work has been exhibited throughout California.
After attending the Columbus College of Art and Design, Lyn Mayer eventually headed West to further her art career. While building skills in illustration and commercial art, Lyn worked at Studio 1617 in Los Angeles, helping Bill Wheeler create public art works and fine art prints.
Lyn honed her creative skills with classes at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. Her attention to detail led to a successful career doing project work creating 3D models for the toy industry, designing fabric patterns and in-house presentations. She has completed projects for Mattel, MGA Entertainment and Spinmaster Toys.
